Well my tomato plants are filling up my greenhouse fast! ! Actually they are growing sooo fast we think the Greenhouse is not big enough for them! .......and the scariest plant of all is the butternut squash... its like "Little shop of horrors" remember that plant?? I swear its growing bigger everyday and I almost feel like its looking at me when I come in the greenhouse..it even has little hairs all over the stems and leaves!!..........OK I am exaggerating a bit .....but its my first squash I ever planted so this is new to me..... ..I think it may take over the entire corner of the greenhouse..it already has little squashes on it and I just can't wait to eat them!!!!

Hi Marlene. Just discovered your blog and think that it's delightful! You certainly have a green thumb and an eye for landscaping and decor. And your boys are adorable.
Drop by my latest post Marlene. I think my zucchini is related to some og your greenhouse plants. I had not visited my veggie garden for 2 days and look what I found. Yikes! Sharon
well, you know, your squash might just very well BE looking at you, watching you!!! and perhaps talking to you - remember the book the secret life of plants? well......
anyway, your garden grows so well, i'm quite jealous! can't wait for the tomatoes to come in! i love fresh tomato sandwiches - hellman's mayo and fresh whole wheat bread!!!
It is looking at you with love, for nurturing and loving its essence into life...
Enjoy and create a tasty supper with the offerings of the purest kind of love, a gift from mother nature herself...
Thank you for paying me a visit. I am drooling over your tomatoes and chuckling over pics of the pups...so much personality! Have a wonderful weekend.
the tomatoes and squash look great! Don't say eat in front of them though. You will scare them. ;-D
Watch those squash, they sneak up on you and take over.
LOVE your blog!! I used to live in Los Osos, and I miss it like crazy! We spent a lot of time in Cayucos, too ~
Butternut squash is my favorite and worth the trouble. You can make them so many ways, and they are a wonderful side dish for Fall dinners. http://pennypincherspantry.wordpress.com/category/nigella read Nigella Lawson's recipe for butternut squash, pecans, and blue cheese. I have made this and it is wonderful!
Hi Marlene, I promise you that those "little" squashes wont't be so little very long!! I had to smile when I read your post, my first thought when I saw the pictures of your grenhouse, oh that movie brings back the memories!

I envy the greenhouse, it's great.
Just popped over to have a peek at your blog. It's so nice to see people who share the same interest, so I will be back when I have more time to check out your wonderful "finds". I love what you've got going with your house.
And by the way, welcome to the blogging world...I'm new at it too...5 months blogging!

It all looks good and it feels great to be able to grow your own food.
I'm awarding you with the MeMe Blog Award if you would like to pop over and pick it up.
I absolutely love your greenhouse. It is the model for the one I want someday. I've even been eyeing old window frames whenever I come across them.
